Tasting: Entrada Malbec

Country: Chile
Year: 2012

Vintage Wine Cellar (Mike): "Firm and structured, this is a solid wine, laced with mineral acidity and tight tannins. It has a juicy, blackberry fruit component cutting though the texture."

My Review: This Chilean Red Malbec wine was not very good in my opinion. I think it may be something about South American wines that don't agree with me, and this one was one of those wines. It was not terrible, but it wasn't great either. It had a rough, organic texture that did help open up the taste of the wine, but not in a good way. I was not a big fan of this wine, but I think it is meant for a certain type of palate.
